As a Certified Canine Athlete Specialist (CCAS), I nurture and guide sport dogs and their owners towards their peak performances. I've had the privilege of being a companion to seven magnificent hounds, three Ibizan Hounds and four Salukis, most of whom have made their mark in various canine competitions.

I grew up surrounded by the beauty and strength of animals on a farm, where my love for horses took center stage for over three decades. However, life had a different course charted for me. After a sudden illness forced me to hang up my spurs, I found a new purpose in the form of my first Ibizan Hound, Djinn.

This transition led me to explore and quickly become entrenched in the world of sport dogs, including conformation, rally obedience, lure coursing, open field/hunting, and agility. However, recurrent minor injuries prevented Djinn from unleashing his full potential on the field. That's when I discovered Dr. Erica Boling, owner of Northeast K9 Conditioning, whose approach ignited my interest in canine fitness.

Together, we formulated a plan that not only allowed Djinn to compete without injuries but also thrive. This experience inspired me to delve deeper into the realm of canine fitness, leading me to complete my CCAS certification through the Elite K9 Athlete program from Northeast K9 Conditioning Academy.

Today, my passion lies in optimizing fitness programs for lure coursing dogs. There's an unparalleled thrill in watching these canine athletes dart across the field at breathtaking speed. My mission is to share this experience with as many sport dog owners as possible, helping them shape their companions into the best athletes they can be.
